Step 1

Create a chain of 16 speks in alternating colors, following a 4-2-2-4-2-2 pattern.

Step 2

Close the chain into a loop and pinch it together to create 2 rows as shown.

Step 3

Repeat steps one and two to create a second pair of rows with the opposite color on top, then attach it to your first.

Step 4

Keep making and attaching rows in alternating colors but do not flip the 5th, 13th, 21st, and 29th pairs as shown.

Step 5

Next start folding your sheet 8 rows in. Make sure the fold is aligned, not interlocked.

Step 6

Continue folding the sheet back and forth every 8 rows until the cube is complete.
